Actividades del grupo
Diagnóstico biológico trabaja en el cribado, diagnóstico, pronóstico y seguimiento de patologías como ayuda a la toma de decisión:
- Valor añadido de los parámetros avanzados del hemograma en el diagnóstico clínico:
- La valoración del status férrico, el déficit funcional de hierro y el diagnóstico diferencial de la anemia microcítica.
- La valoración de los síndromes febriles y la detección precoz de sepsis.
- Valor en el diagnóstico y pronóstico de las neumonías COVID y no COVID.
- Grupo de trabajo de International Council for Standarization in Hematology (ICSH) para el desarrollo y evaluación de un nuevo standard para la determinación de la fracción inmadura de reticulocitos.
- Hemoglobina A1c y hemoglobinas anormales. Validación de nuevos sistemas de medida y detección.
- Nuevos Biomarcadores.
- En el estudio de la neumonía comunitaria (procalcitonina, proadrenomedulina).
- En el diagnóstico de cáncer de próstata (PCA3 y PHI).
- Identificación de biomarcadores de inestabilidad de la placa de ateroma de la arteria carótida.
- Dispositivos de ostomía sensorizados para medir parámetros analíticos.
- Optimización del uso de pruebas de diagnóstico biológico. Gestión de la demanda.
- Validación y comparación de nuevos sistemas de medición, límites de referencia y recomendaciones de uso de la determinación de vitaminas.
- Desarrollo de algoritmos en el diagnóstico de la anemia en Atención Primaria.
- Estandarización y automatización del diagnóstico del anticoagulante lúpico mediante un algoritmo informático complejo.
- Diagnóstico y pronóstico de marcadores en los trastornos plaquetarios:
- Estudio de pacientes con sospecha de alteración plaquetaria y monitorización en pacientes con tratamiento antiagregante por Agregometría de Transmisión de Luz (LTA).
- Marcadores plaquetarios en el uso de plasma rico en factores de crecimiento.
- Herramientas para la predicción de la carga de trabajo en pacientes subsidiarios de Hospitalización a domicilio.
- Diagnóstico en los procesos infecciosos.
- Validación de la saliva como muestra para PCR en el diagnóstico de COVID.
- Validación de las pruebas serológicas en el seguimiento COVID.
